Meet Managing Director Heather Porter

heather_profileWith a career spanning 20 countries over 10 years and working with luminaries such as Tony Robbins and with top charities such as Richard Branson’s Branson School of Entrepreneurship in South Africa, Heather Porter is at the cutting edge of the international business world.  Her holistic approach to life has seen her surround herself with people who are world-leaders in their fields.

Heather’s experiences have spanned the areas of media, entertainment, personal development and philanthropy and have given her an incredible breadth of skills and contacts.  Her past experiences include working on art exhibitions, fundraisers and nightclubs; as the Event Manager and Crew Director for Tony Robbins; and establishing the exclusive Billionaire Adventure Club with speaker and lifestyle strategist Christopher Howard.

Heather has also worked as an arts, entertainment and fashion editor, event manager, board member and high-level consultant.  Her experiences have seen her move in circles including Business Chicks (www.businesschicks.com.au), Lobella (www.lobella.com) and Madonna’s Raising Malawi Academy for Girls (www.raisingmalawi.org).

Through the Billionaire Adventure Club she worked directly with charities and social enterprises in developing countries with the outcome of creating sustainable projects designed to help eradicate global poverty.  Seeing a need to give newer and smaller charities guidance, she is currently working on a charity mentoring program to connect sustainable social enterprises with those that need help and advice with their fundraising and operations model.

Her love of connecting and helping people with her networks have led her to her next stage of professional development – the internet.  She has recently launched www.vitalkey.com.au that is a one-stop-online-shop for busy people who want access to free resources and experts in business and lifestyle topics.  A series of other products and sites will launch around her new vision later in 2009.

Meet Logistics Manager Sian Clayton

sian claytonIn her short 21 years Sian has accomplished more than many twice her age.  She was born in London, and when she was 6 she made the move to Sydney with her parents and 3 younger sisters. As soon as she left high school she jumped straight into the working world where her love of watching how children learn led her to childcare.  As a private nanny for 4 years she documented the children’s philosophies on life and their simplicity and passion inspired her greatly.

During this time she also volunteered as an events and stage manager where she learned the art of customer service and the importance of giving clients an unforgettable experience. She developed the philosophy that nothing is ever too big to fix and there is no such word as “can’t”.

Her love of contribution also led Sian to be a counsellor for troubled girls where she put her listening skills to work by helping them deal with school, relationships and work life issues. She even helped several girls stop attempts to end their lives!

Next up was a move into the corporate world where Sian could help others solve problems from a more strategic level.  After being a Project Coordinator at a data and electrical company she quickly was promoted to the Senior Project Coordinator.  With a taste for problem solving, Sian moved on to the role of Personal Assistant where she could use her skills to support entrepreneurs. There is nothing she loves more then a challenge!

Sian now assists 2 different Directors of the companies Brandsrpeople2 and Porter Productions.  Everyday she is given the opportunity to learn, grow and strengthen her character and abilities. When she is not looking to further herself in business she plays soccer, writes, plays music and is on the lookout for her next contribution project where she can encourage others through a tough time.  Be on the look out for her handing flowers to a complete stranger because she loves to do random acts of kindness.
